Download MapFirms for Windows

One installer for both the free version and the full version. Start free, and sign in later to unlock the full version – no reinstall needed.

The download page on app.mapfirms.com shows the current version, the file size and its SHA-256 checksum.

System requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • An internet connection for searches and maps
  • Google Chrome – only for the optional sources that use it
  • No administrator rights needed

Install in four steps

  1. Download MapFirms-Setup-8.2.0.exe from the download page.
  2. Run it. If Windows SmartScreen says “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info › Run anyway – but only for a file you downloaded from app.mapfirms.com.
  3. Choose your language, read and accept the license agreement and confirm the installation folder.
  4. Press Install, then Launch now. A short wizard helps you set up your first search.

Your data is kept in your Windows user folder. Updates keep it, and uninstalling keeps it too unless you tick “Also delete my user data”.

Check the file (optional)

In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash .\MapFirms-Setup-8.2.0.exe and compare the result with the SHA-256 value on the download page.

Phone app

MapFirms Mobile needs no download. With the full version, open the Mobile page in the desktop program and scan the QR code with your phone.
