Pre-contract Information and Terms of Sale

This page summarises what you need to know before you buy a MapFirms subscription. It contains the pre-contract information listed in Article 5 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation and Article 3 of Turkish Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, as they apply to this model in which the sale is made by Paddle.

1. Seller and licensor

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Seller: Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and the group companies named in the Paddle Buyer Terms). The seller's legal name, address and contact details are set out in the Paddle Buyer Terms; you can send requests about your order via https://paddle.net.
Distance sales contract: the purchase contract is concluded between you and Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms
Licensor: Hakan Demirbilek (MapFirms), e-mail: destek@mapfirms.com. Use of the software is governed by the MapFirms End User License Agreement.

2. Product and main characteristics

Product: MapFirms yearly subscription (full version); digital software and related online services.
Scope: the MapFirms desktop program for Windows, the MapFirms Mobile phone app, and the account, licensing, update and phone sync services.
Functions: finding publicly available company information on the sources you select, qualifying and prioritising companies, a contact screen (every call and message is started and sent by you), preparing quotes and customer follow-up.
Right of use: for the single user in whose name it is purchased, on up to 2 computers registered to the account (or more, if a higher number is stated at purchase).
Trying before you buy: the free version can be used with the features of the desktop program and a limit of 30 new companies per installation; the phone app is part of the full version.

3. Price, taxes and payment

The total price including taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) and the currency are shown on the Paddle checkout page before you pay. There are no delivery or shipping costs.
Payment is made using the methods offered on the Paddle checkout page. The fee is charged in advance when you order and at each yearly renewal.
The invoice or receipt is sent by Paddle by e-mail.
Placing the order creates an obligation to pay.

4. Delivery and activation

MapFirms is delivered digitally; there is no physical delivery. You download the program from https://app.mapfirms.com. Immediately after payment is confirmed, the full-version license is activated on your account and becomes available when you sign in to the program with your account.

5. System requirements and technical protection measures

Desktop program: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and an internet connection; Google Chrome is needed only for the optional sources that use it.
MapFirms Mobile: an up-to-date web browser on Android or iPhone.
Technical protection measures: the full version requires signing in with an account; the license is checked online at intervals and keeps working without an internet connection for a limited time; the subscription can be used on up to 2 computers registered to the account (or more, if a higher number is stated at purchase); the free version is limited to 30 new companies.

6. Term, renewal and cancellation

The subscription runs for one year and, unless cancelled, renews automatically each year for the same period. If the renewal price is going to change, you will be told by e-mail in advance.
You can cancel at any time using the link in the Paddle receipt e-mails, at https://paddle.net or by writing to destek@mapfirms.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
When the subscription ends, the program returns to the free version; your data stays on your computer.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

30-day unconditional money-back guarantee: for the first purchase and for every yearly renewal, you can get the full amount back without giving a reason within 30 days of the payment date (MapFirms Refund Policy: https://mapfirms.com/legal/refund/).
Statutory right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer, under the Paddle Buyer Terms and the Paddle Refund Policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) you have a right of withdrawal, usually of 14 days, in Türkiye, the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
When the right of withdrawal does not apply: laws may provide exceptions to the right of withdrawal for services performed immediately online and for digital content delivered immediately (in Türkiye, Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation; in the European Union and the United Kingdom, where performance has begun with your consent). Regardless of these exceptions, the MapFirms 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee applies.
Notice of withdrawal or refund request: via https://paddle.net (the Paddle customer portal also offers online withdrawal) or to destek@mapfirms.com. Paddle refunds the amount to the payment method you used.

8. Complaints and dispute resolution

Consumers in Türkiye may apply to consumer arbitration committees within the monetary limits announced each year (applications can also be made through e-Devlet) and, for disputes above those limits, to consumer courts after the mandatory mediation required by law.
Consumers in other countries may apply to the consumer bodies and competent courts of their own country.

9. Conclusion of the contract, storage and personal data

The contract is concluded in these steps: you choose a plan; the Paddle checkout window opens; you enter your details; before paying you see the order summary and the price and can correct input errors in the same window; you confirm the payment. Paddle then sends you the order confirmation and the receipt by e-mail.
The Paddle Buyer Terms, the MapFirms End User License Agreement, the Refund Policy and this page are always available online; you can save or print them for your records.
These documents are published in Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish and Arabic; the Paddle checkout page is also offered in many languages, including Turkish.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the MapFirms Privacy Notice; Paddle processes your payment data under its own privacy notice.
