What is MapFirms?
MapFirms is a Windows program for finding and winning business customers. It searches Overture Maps open data and official company registers for companies in the trades and regions you choose, collects the contact details they publish and tracks every lead through calls, quotes and follow-ups in a built-in CRM. A companion phone app comes with the full version.
Which sources does MapFirms search?
By default, in Overture Maps open data, which covers the whole world, and – where one exists for the country you search – in official company registers. The registers of France, Norway, Finland and Czechia work without a key; those of the United Kingdom and Mexico open with a free API key; the global LEI index GLEIF can be chosen as well. Contact details are then read from each company’s own website, and the “Where from?” log keeps the page each value came from. You can also tick other optional sources in the search form. MapFirms works with publicly accessible data and pages only.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The free version includes every feature of the desktop program and never expires. It needs no account and no card; it stops at 30 new companies per installation, and the phone app comes with the full version. Sign in with a full-version account at any time and the limit is lifted – the companies you have added stay.
How much does the full version cost?
The full version is a yearly subscription. Write to destek@mapfirms.com and we will send you the current price and set up your account.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. Within 30 days of your purchase you can ask for a full refund without giving a reason. The details are in our refund policy.
Where is my data stored?
On your own computer. Companies, notes and quotes are kept in a local database in your Windows user folder. Our server holds your account and – if you pair a phone – end-to-end encrypted packages it cannot read. Update checks and the optional YouTube check also contact our server; the privacy notice lists exactly what is processed.
How do I contact the companies I find?
From the Contact screen or the phone app: call with one click, or open a WhatsApp chat or an e-mail draft filled in from your own templates. You review every message and press send yourself, then log the outcome with a single key.
Which countries and languages are supported?
You can search in 195 countries and 3,399 regions. The interface is available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish and Arabic, and your search terms can be translated automatically into the language of the country you search.
What do I need to run MapFirms?
A PC with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and an internet connection for searches and maps. Google Chrome is needed only for the optional sources that use it. Installation needs no administrator rights, and you can work with saved companies offline.
Does the phone app work on iPhone?
Yes. MapFirms Mobile is a web app for Android and iPhone that you add to your home screen – no app store needed. It is part of the full version.
